Description[edit | edit source]
The Snail is a shelled gastropod living in The Living Infinite. However, it differs in many ways from normal snails, most notably its size and aggressive behavior. It also lacks a radula, having actual teeth instead. Weirdly, it's also capable of spitting some sort of (presumably acidic or poisonous) mucus as a projectile, which it uses to defend itself and its lairs.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
The Snail will rarely move, preferring to spit at crewmembers from a distance. Its projectile is not affected by gravity until it reaches a certain distance, at which point it will quickly fall until it touches the floor or an unlucky crewmember. If they are unable to hit the players for any reason, they will attempt to reposition themselves, but as they move extremely slowly, their attempts are often ineffective.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
Since it shoots directily from its head, standing on top of it will leave it defenseless and make killing it way easier. Otherwise, standing at an upper or lower ledge will make you avoid its attacks as well, although it will prevent you from attacking it with melee weapons.
