Description[edit | edit source]

Duopuses are cephalopods that only possess 2 tentacles. They live are social animals and they have a queen, the Quadken, which is the only female that is capable of reproducing. Thus, the Quadken is the matriarch of all Duopuses, and dutifully guards her batches of Duopus Eggs that lie scattered in her huge, open lair. She is a gigantic cephalopod with 4 tentacles, and due to her size she cannot move. She seems to protect its young by keeping them inside its mouth, similarly to the Darwin's frog. It is unknown what makes a female duopus become the queen.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

The Quadken will use its tentacles to protect its head and to attack the submarine if it gets too close, dealing heavy damage and launching the vessel away, possibly dealing further damage if it hits a wall in high speed. When the submarine is beyond its range, it will release Baby Duopuses (unless there are more than 2 alive or not inside the Submarine) to defend itself.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name "Quadken" is a portmanteau of "Kraken", the legendary sea monster and "quad", which means four, referencing how it only possesses 4 tentacles
