The Trilobite is a common enemy found in the Caves of the Ancient Abyss.

Description[edit | edit source]

The Trilobites are a presumably extinct marine arachnomorph arthropods that form the class Trilobita and are one of the earliest known groups of arthropods. In The Living Infinite, however, they continue to exist and have reach immense sizes as well as developed a highly aggressive behavior, making them common foes found inside the caves scattered accross their primordial habitat.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

The trilobite will chase the player and attempt to position itself slightly to the left or right of them so that it can slam its head at them. They will sometimes stick onto walls and walk on them, eventually dropping down once they align vertically with a crewmember.

Tactics[edit | edit source]

They are not particularly dangerous, but their high health and huge numbers can overwhelm careless players. However, due to its attacks not coming from its center, standing on top of them will render them defenseless, although they will sometimes try to reposition themselves, so care is advised.
