The Arctic Shrimp is a common enemy found in the caves of the Frozen Waters.
Description[ | ]
The Arctic Shrimp are decapod crustaceans that dwell inside the large caves found inside the trench. They are scavengers, eating organic matter found on the ocean floor. In The Living Infinite, however, they grow to a very large size and, like most other animals found there, are also highly aggressive, attacking any unlucky explorers by using its sharp rostrum as a spear.
Behavior[ | ]
The Arctic Shrimp will chase any crewmembers it spots and attack them until either it or its enemy is dead. Although not particularly dangerous, it is able to follow its target wherever they go due to its ability to swim, as long as its inside the cave, which can make it a big threat to players with low health. It is very slow, however, making it very easy to simply outrun it and get away from its dangerous rostrum unless the player is also afflicted with Hypothermia.
