The Barnacle Biter is a common enemy found in the waters of the Infected Depths and can also be spawned when a Barnacle Mine explodes.
Description
The Barnacle Biter appears to be a large colonial organism comprised of experimental barnacles. It has a fish-like appearance, having a dorsal fin and a tail, although no other fins are noticeable. It has many unorganized, sharp protrusions around its "mouth" that act as its teeth. It is most likely (due to its appearance) that it was once an Piranha, before being infected.
Behavior
The Barnacle Biter will continuously follow the submarine and try to bite it. It's fairly fast and usually doesn't miss, but is not particularly dangerous due to its rather low health and tendency to overshoot its target after a successful attack. Additionally, it will often lead unexperienced gunners to shoot Barnacle Mines while attempting to hit it, which often results in more Barnacle Biters spawning.
