The Cursed Ship is an uncommon enemy that may appear in the Cursed Waters.

Description

The Cursed Ship is an old pirate ship, lost to the sands of time. Its sails are ragged, broken and falling apart; its wooden extenses are tattered and aged; and one can only see dim, unnatural lights coming out from the ship's rusted windows. No longer something of this earth, this ghostly apparition sails through the deep waters in an endless search for unfortunate souls to witness its unprecedented brutality, transcending even death itself to achieve their wicked goal, and spread their accursed fate.

Behavior

Once the Cursed Ship spots the submarine, it will attempt to ram it. If it succeeds, its undead crew will invade the submarine and attempt to kill anyone inside to loot the vessel. Once all Cursed Pirates have invaded, the Cursed Ship will disappear, having completed its purpose.

Tactics

Due to the large amounts of pirates the Cursed Ship can bring inside the submarine, it may be one of the most dangerous enemies in the biome. Additionally, as every pirate will create a small hole to enter the submarine, if this enemy succeeds at hitting the submarine, it will deal heavy damage to the hull, possibly destroying badly damaged vessels. It is highly recommended to have at least one Shield to deal with this ship.
